Tim Andreas, CEO/President, had assisted clients in managing their wealth for over 12 years when he founded Andreas Global Asset Management Group in 2013. Tim’s vision was to create a “client centered organization” dedicated to excellence in delivering exceptional service for our clients and to significantly impact the lives of those we serve. His primary responsibility is working closely with each of his clients across the spectrum of wealth management to identify their goals and to develop, implement and monitor extraordinary customized solutions while executing strategies in areas where specific needs have been identified. Tim is also focused on the overall management of the firm to provide leadership for the direction and vision of Global Asset Management Group, LLC and the advisors that exemplify the same passion for their clients.
Tim began as a Financial Advisor in 2001 with Prudential Financial. Throughout his career Tim’s relationships with his clients grew through some of the most challenging financial times in history and he was recognized as one of the Premier Advisors* in the region as well as the nation. He has been asked to speak numerous times both regionally as well as nationally to other advisors about Financial Plans, Retirement Investing, Growing a Financial Practice and Niche Marketing. After numerous mergers and acquisitions he saw the shift from client centered, unbiased advice to company influenced compensation strategies to drive earnings with little concern for the clients’ best interest. At that point in his career, Tim as a Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, was convicted to take the road less traveled. He transitioned his practice from the Wall Street/Bank controlled firms back to his passion, a relationship with the client. Tim is a qualified recipient of the Chairman’s Council* at Raymond James, an elite group of the top 100 financial advisors in the nation. He has also been awarded by Forbes Magazine and Shook Research* as one of the Top Wealth Advisors in the State eight years in a row.
Tim, with his wife Tammy, are the founders of the “Local Heart Foundation,” a not for profit 501(c)3 charity to help local families with the financial burden when unexpectedly effected by heart disease. Founded in 2017, they have provided financial assistance to over 500 local families.
Tim and his wife, Tammy, reside in Lake Charles. They have four children, all married, and they enjoy eleven grandchildren. They are members of The River Church in Lake Charles. They have been involved in numerous ministries for married couples, Prayer ministry, children and The Men of Vision men’s group.
*Membership is based mainly on assets under management, education, credentials and fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually.
